Alexandra Roque Application to install above-ground swimming pool Board Review Based Upon: 1. The application. 2. Building Inspector review 3. Testimony of applicant Alexandra Roque 4. ARB members’ knowledge of the site 5. Site visits by members 6. No testimony from the public Board Findings: The application is for the installation of an above-grade pool and includes a pool fence and a fence along the perimeter of the property. The submitted documentation for the pool is hard to see. No documentation was submitted for the fence. Conclusion: 1. Having no comment by the public, the public hearing is closed on a motion by Member Robertson, seconded by Member Steinhorst, approved by a vote of 4-0. 2. Motion by Member Robertson to conditionally approve the application. The applicant will submit via email a clear copy of the pool cut sheet in color, as well as a cut sheet or other image of the fence around the pool with dimensions. This will need approval by two ARB members via email. Seconded by Member, O’Neill, approved by a vote of 4-0. Regular Meeting May 18, 2022 Architectural Review Board Via Zoom 2. 26 Haven Court. Maria Williams Application for second-floor dormer extension & new egress windows, and new window at front porch Board Review Based Upon: 1. The application. 2. Building Inspector review 3. Testimony of applicant Maria Williams & Danny 4. ARB members’ knowledge of the site 5. Site visits by members 6. No testimony from the public Board Findings: The application shows the extended dormer with new casement egress windows and a new casement window at the porch. However, the applicant states that the porch window will be double hung and that the existing kitchen windows on the east side of the house will get changed to either one single or two separate windows. New siding will likely get installed. Existing brackets at the roof of the dormer might get re-installed at the new dormer. Conclusion: 1. Having no comment by the public, the public hearing is closed on a motion by Member Robertson, seconded by Member Steinhorst, approved by a vote of 4-0. 2. The board finds the application to be incomplete. The application will carry over to the next meeting at which point the public hearing will have to get reopened. The brackets and all new windows will have to be shown on the drawings as they are proposed. A cut sheet for the new siding showing the style with reveal/dimensions and color will be part of the resubmission. Applicant will provide a siding sample at the next meeting.
