5.1 Resolution No. 2024-13 Resolution of the Nyack Village Board accepting audited
voucher summary
WHEREAS, the Audited Voucher Summary was presented to the Nyack Village Board of trustees at
its regularly scheduled meeting of January 25, 2024.
RESOLVED, that General Fund Claims set forth on pages 1 through 11 in the amounts of
General Fund– $28,839.17
Parking Fund – $10,676.90
Water Fund – $349.52
5.2 Resolution No. 2024-14 Resolution of the Nyack Village Board of Trustees to approve
closure of Depew Ave for the annual Back to School BBQ
RESOLVED that the Nyack Village Board of Trustees approves the closure of Depew Ave from
Liberty St to S. Franklin St for the annual Back to School BBQ event, on Sunday, August 25, 2024,
labor cost to be covered by the Village as it is a Village-sponsored event.
5.3 Resolution No. 2024-15 Village of Nyack Board of Trustees Resolution Adopting the
Nyack2030 Climate Action Plan

WHEREAS, the Nyack 2030 Climate Action Plan has been developed with extensive input from the
community and stakeholder committees, resulting in a detailed, user friendly roadmap for local
climate action, including goals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions by households, businesses,
and the public sector, and has been paid for in part with a grant from the NYS Climate Smart
Community Grant Program,
WHEREAS, the Plan has been presented publicly to the Village Board of Trustees and offered for
comment to the public via the Village website,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board, that the Nyack 2030 Climate Action Plan is
adopted and Village staff and committee members are directed to follow up on the Plan however
feasible.
5.4 Resolution No. 2024-16 Resolution of the Nyack Village Board of Trustees to Approve a
Permit Application for an Event in Memorial Park by Andy Minniefield
RESOLVED, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Nyack approves an application for the use of
the Upper Lawn of Memorial Park by Andy Minniefield for the purpose of a native American
gathering, on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 10 AM until dusk, subject to provision of appropriate
insurance certificate.
5.5 Resolution No. 2024-17 Resolution of the Nyack Village Board of Trustees to Approve
Street Closure for the Annual Fire Department Memorial Procession
RESOLVED, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Nyack approves an application for street
closure for the annual Fire Department Memorial Procession on the morning of June 9, 2024, to
begin at New St, and continue via N. Broadway, Main St, M. Midland and Sickles Ave to the Oak
Hill Cemetery.
5.6 Resolution No. 2024-18 Village of Nyack Board of Trustees Resolution Approving Mayor’s
Appointment of Elizabeth Turk to the Board of Water Commissioners
RESOLVED, that the Mayor’s re-appointment Elizabeth Turk as a member of the Board of Water
Commissioners, for a term of five years, to expire December 31, 2028, is hereby approved.
5.7 Resolution No. 2024-19 Village of Nyack Board of Trustees Resolution Approving Renewal
of Agreement with Munistat for Financial Advisory Services
RESOLVED, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Nyack authorizes the Village Administrator to
execute a Municipal Advisor Services Agreement with Munistat, for preparation, bidding and
closing of bond sales for capital projects and related consulting services effective from the date of
signing until either party terminates the agreement

5.7 Resolution No. 2024-20 Village of Nyack Board of Trustees Resolution Approving
Funding of Nyack Tourism Grant projects
WHEREAS, The Board of Trustees, in recognition of the importance of tourism to local economic
development, recently adopted a local law providing for a Hotel Bed Tax in order to fund tourism
promotion projects, intends to allocate 50% of this tax revenue, minus an administrative cost of 8%,
to tourism promotion projects, and
WHEREAS, The Board of Trustees delegated to the Nyack Business Council the responsibility to
advise the Board of Trustees on funding decisions in response to applications for Nyack Tourism
Grants, and contracted with Visit Nyack to administer the grant program on behalf of the Village,
and the Business Council has received, reviewed and discussed applications, including presentations
by applicants to the Business Council; therefore
RESOLVED, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Nyack allocates $35,000 in funds for the
current round of the Nyack Tourism Grant program, and
RESOLVED, based on advice and recommendation from the Nyack Business Council, the Board of
Trustees approves the following grants for tourism promotion projects, and directs the Village
Administrator to execute all necessary agreements, subject to the review of the Village Attorney, to
fund these projects, with any unused grant funds rolled into the next round of the grant program:
