DISCUSSION/ACTION/PRESENTATION/REPORT ITEMS: a. Review/Discuss/Approve the current Civil Service Rule sections Current Rule: “7.02.04 The top 15 applicants will be invited for an interview by an independent oral board consisting of fire officials and community professionals. If an applicant declines an interview, the applicant’s name will be removed from the list. The applicants will be ranked based on the combined scores of their written and oral boards. The list will be submitted to the Commission for approval. Candidates will be advised of their ranking.” Propose Rule change: 7.02.04 The top 15 up to 30 applicants will be invited for an interview by an independent oral board consisting of fire officials and community professionals.
