COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
a) Willowbrooke Eleventh Addition – Final Plat
City Planner Luke McClanahan explained that U.S. Home LLC (doing business as Lennar
Corporation), the developer and land owner, requests Final Plat approval for Willowbrooke
Eleventh Addition. If approved, this request will create 37 lots for single-family residences and two
outlots for stormwater ponding and trail connection. Mr. McClanahan noted that the applicable
homeowners’ association will be responsible for the maintenance of the retaining walls located
within the outlots, as the retaining walls are not viewed as a necessary public improvement. Staff
recommended the approval of this final plat as it conforms to the approved preliminary plat of
Willowbrooke.
A MOTION WAS MADE BY COUNCIL MEMBER SEVERSON, SECONDED BY COUNCIL MEMBER MOORE TO
WAIVE READING AND ADOPT RESOLUTION 2025-08, APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR WILLOWBROOKE
ELEVENTH ADDITION, WITH CONDITIONS INCLUDED IN THE ATTACHED RESOLUTION.
