The two parcels will be developed into restaurants, which are appropriate for the area. No Board discussion or public comment. Discussion: Mr. Malever asked if the US Government must approve the zoning. Ms. Miller responded the applicant is waiting for a response from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Florida Department of Transportation. The Airport Advisory Board favors only leasing the property. Ms. Miller clarified the Board is considering the zoning period. Mr. Fred Roberts, 40 SE 11th Avenue, Ocala, FL, stated he is representing the applicant. The rezoning of the parcel is subject to a contract for sale. He provided a brief overview of the contract elements. He confirmed the applicant is awaiting a response from the FAA. Furthermore, the M-1 zoning does not conflict with the surrounding uses. Ms. Madraveren responded no; NW 17th Place is a second access option. No public comment. The purpose of the meeting is to collect feedback from the Board. Ms. Hitchcock commented City staff strives to provide useful data for requests.
