Adjournment Brenda Seefeldt Chair, Architectural Review Board Portions of this meeting may be held in closed session pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act.  ARB Meeting Minutes – October 26, 2021 In Attendance: In Person: Darryl Hawkins, Carol Bailey, Merial Currer, Lori Domenech Alternates, Theo Daubresse & Lisa Terry Via Zoom: Brenda Seefeldt Excused absence: Cindy Fithian, Doug Kastens Town Staff: Michele White, Town Clerk in person and Kirstyn Jovanovich, Town Manager via Zoom 1. Call to Order - Darryl Hawkins chaired the meeting as Brenda was ill. He called meeting to order at 7:30 pm 2. Citizen Comments - None 3. Approval of Minutes A. September 28, 2021 Meeting Minutes - Merial made a motion to accept, Carol 2nd, all approved. 4. Exterior Elevation Applications A. ARB2021-012 Exterior Elevation - 204 Ellicott St - moved from another location and wants to repaint. Proposed color PMS2695 (eggplant/purple) is for underside of porch roof and porch floor. Darryl made a motion, Lori 2nd, to approve with changes, adding a 3rd color in keeping with Craftsman style homes. Applicant will adjust the application to indicate that she will return next month with options for a third or even 4th color that could be used on handrails and lattice. All approved. B. ARB2021-013 - 184 Washington St. - Applicant asked to add a section of gutter to existing drain pipe. Merial made a motion, Carol 2nd, to approve. All approved. C. ARB2021-014 - 309 Mill St. – Applicant did exterior changes prior to getting approval from ARB. Application is to approve retroactively. The black/white window trim and shutters were the original colors when the building was purchased. The yellow door is a recent change. Carol made a motion to approve as presented, Lori 2nd, All approved. D. ARB2021-015 - 202 Mill St. - Applicant received approval for the fence from the zoning administrator so ARB is only asked to consider the appearance of the fence. Proposed fence will be a composite, white resin with wood-look. Composite is an acceptable material in ARB guidelines. Lori made a motion to approve as submitted, Merial 2nd. All approved. E. Discussion Items 1. Draft Revised Exterior Elevation Application - Staff asked the ARB to review the proposed application to see if it covers all items that might be considered. Merial made a motion to approve, Carol 2nd. All approved. F. Reports -  1.No Town Council Report 2.No Town Manager’s Report 3.No Planning Commission Report 4.Chair Report - Brenda asked the Town Manager when we can expect the updated application for The Mill at Occoquan and answers to the questions submitted by ARB members. Mr. Sills said he is working on his response and may be ready to bring it to the ARB in November, although there is no official meeting due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
