Call to Order Chair Gary Pease called the meeting to order via Zoom at 2:00 p.m. 2. Roll Call Planning Commissioners present: Gary Pease, Kerry Barr, Larry Mosher, Mark Lawlis, Dan Bricker, and Thorn Ward Planning Commissioners absent: None City Staff present: City Planner, Marshall Read 3. Approval of Meeting Agenda ● Commissioner Lawlis moved to approve the meeting agenda. Commissioner Barr seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. 4. Approval of Minutes ● Approval of our minutes from our meeting of October 24, 2023. Commissioner Lawlis moved to approve the minutes as amended, seconded by Commissioner Barr. The motion passed unanimously. ● Approval of our minutes from our meeting of November 14, 2023. Commissioner Lawlis moved to approve the minutes as amended, seconded by Commissioner Barr. The motion passed unanimously. 5. Public Comments There were no public comments. 6. Old Business: ● Walking and Biking Project: Survey for Ocean Shores residents regarding preferences regarding options is published and will be available through December 31st. 7. Commissioner Barr seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. ● Zoning Map Review led by Planning Commission Chair, Gary Pease 8. Members of the Commission Reports ● Commissioner Lawlis led a short discussion about the Biking and Walking committee items. 9. Secretary for Next Meeting ● Chair Gary Pease appointed Commissioner Bricker as Secretary for the 01/09/2024 meeting 10. Public Comment: ● A guest expressed that they liked the way the direction of the zoning was going. ● A guest had a question regarding house sizes in the R-6A Zone. 11. Future Meetings ● Next meeting is at 2:00 p.m. on 01/09/2024. ● Meetings will be held at the Ocean Shores Public Library meeting room located at 573 Point Brown Ave NW, Ocean Shores, WA. ● Prior to attending, please confirm the meeting location on the official agenda.
