Committee-Of-The-Whole Meeting Minutes June 5, 2018 Mayor Nold called the Committee-of-the-Whole meeting to order at 5:30 PM. Members Present: Aldermen Strey, Kowieski, Miller, Rosek, Shaw and Zwart Excused: Alderman Ellis (arrived 7:00 PM) Staff Present: Mayor Nold, Kitsembel, Freber, Pickart, Gallo, Kelliher, Buerger, Duffy, Frye, Bleck and Coenen 2. Presentation of Draft Strategic Plan Kitsembel introduced Walter Jankowski, our Strategic Plan coordinator, who gave a Power Point presentation going over the objectives and deliverables the team has put together so far, work conducted at the last planning session, reviewing and updating the Draft Strategic Plan as to proposed edits and priorities, determining staff ownership, milestone planning, developing our future roadmap and prioritizing values. The Committee went over each of the five identified categories: Provide a Safe and Secure Community; Improve and Maintain Our Infrastructure/Facilities; Focus on Economic Development; Improve Our Quality of Life Assets; and Enhance the Effectiveness of Our City Government offering additions and revisions. Jankowski will make the changes and present a final Strategic Plan on June 19th.at which time the Committee will determine mission & vision statements. Motion by Kowieski to adjourn the Committee-of-the-Whole meeting; second by Shaw. Motion carried 7-0. The meeting adjourned at 7:05 PM.
