October 18, 2022 - 6:00 PM
Aldermen Present: Charles Schellpeper, Lou Kowieski, Chris Douglas, Matt Rosek, Jennifer Aultman Kloth, Kevin
Ellis, Karen Spiegelberg, Matt Mulder
Also Present: Robert Magnus, Diane Coenen, Robert Duffy, Mark Frye, Jason Gallo, Jason Herzog, Craig
Hoeppner, Joe Pickart, Laurie Sullivan-Murray, Ivan Lam, Stan Riffle
Mayor Magnus called the Committee-Of-The-Whole Meeting to order at 6:04 PM.
Committee Business
a. Discussion/Update on Olympia Hills Project and TIF
Steve DeCleene, President of Neumann Development, Inc. displayed a map on the screen of the
proposed Olympia Hills development which outlined commercial and residential areas along with number of
units for each area, and interior road layout. He also stated they have revised the amount of their TIF
request. C-O-T-W had discussion on the redevelopment of the ski hill and Magnus stated he would work to
schedule a brainstorming session between the elected officials and Neumann Co. representatives to
discuss the ski hill.
b. Closed Session - Convenes in Conference Room 3
Motion to convene into Closed Session per Wis State Stat 19.85(1)(e) Deliberating or negotiating
the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified
public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a Closed Session regarding
Oconomowoc Parkway Project; Public/Private Partnership for Olympia Hills Redevelopment
Project and Lac La Belle Boat Launch Project Summary made by Mulder and seconded by
Kowieski.
Motion carried 8-0-0.
Adjourn
Motion to adjourn Committee-Of-The-Whole made by Kowieski and seconded by Aultman Kloth.
Motion carried 8-0-0.
The meeting adjourned at 7:37 PM.
