Finance Committee Meeting Minutes February 18, 2020 Chairman Spiegelberg called the meeting to order at 7:07 PM. Members Present: Aldermen Spiegelberg, Shaw and Rosek Staff Present: Mayor Nold, Kitsembel, Sullivan, Buerger, Gallo, Pickart, Hoeppner, Frye, Duffy, Freber, Caine and Coenen Others Present: Alds. Kowieski, Ellis, Strey, Rogers and Zwart 2a. Consider/recommend Approving 2019 Continuing Appropriations Sullivan reported this is part of our annual closing process. The requests for continuing appropriations are for carryovers from 2019 to 2020 from unfinished projects mainly for Capital projects and Utilities, unpaid amounts on purchase orders and requests for funding. Motion by Rosek to recommend approving 2019 Continuing Appropriations; second by Shaw. Motion carried 3-0. 2b. Consider/recommend Budget Amendment for 2019 Grants/Donations Received and NE Region Project – 10/1/19 to 12/31/19 Sullivan reported the budget amendment is for the fourth quarter of 2019. Motion by Rosek to approve the budget amendment for grants/donations received and NE Region Project from 10/1/19 to 12/31/19; second by Shaw. Motion carried 3-0. 2c. Consider/act on vouchers Motion by Rosek to approve the vouchers in the amount of $5,483,888.00; second by Shaw. The Committee commented that the new Voucher Report is laid out in an easy format.
