City of Oconomowoc Finance Committee Meeting Minutes April 20, 2021 - 6:00 PM Aldermen Present: Matt Rosek, Kevin Ellis, Karen Spiegelberg Also Present: Robert Magnus, Matt Trebatoski, Diane Coenen, Robert Duffy, Mark Frye, Jason Gallo, Craig Hoeppner, James Pfister, Laurie Sullivan, Kristi Weber, Ivan Lam, Lou Kowieski, Matt Mulder, John Zapfel Chairman Rosek called the Finance Committee Meeting to order at 6:00 PM. Call to order and confirmation of appropriate meeting notification Committee Business a. Consider/recommend Adoption of the City of Oconomowoc Revised Procurement Policy Council proposed changes to the policy defined as follows: 1) Page 3, Coverage, add at the end of the paragraph, "Council can at its discretion, provide for a more stringent process for specific purchases or budget items 2) Under Ethical Standards, government official should be used in place of official 3) Page 4, add insurance to 2nd paragraph after liability and replace manual with policy 4) Page 6, On-Going Professional Services, change vs. to versus 5) Make clear that the 10% contingency is defined in the policy to be no more than 10% of the original PO or contract amount Motion to amend the five changes that were proposed and discussed made by Rosek and seconded by Spiegelberg. Motion carried 3-0-0. Motion to amend that all the tables within the policy clearly define the categories as proposed by Spiegelberg made by Rosek and seconded by Ellis. Motion carried 3-0-0. Motion to recommend adoption of the City of Oconomowoc revised and amended Procurement Policy made by Rosek and seconded by Ellis. Motion carried 3-0-0. 1 Finance Committee - April 20, 2021  b. Consider/act on Vouchers 1. Consider/act on Voucher Report - March 2021 Motion to approve the vouchers in the amount of $4,903,671.62 made by Rosek and seconded by Ellis. Motion carried 3-0-0. Adjourn Motion to adjourn the Finance Committee meeting made by Spiegelberg and seconded by Ellis. Motion carried 3-0-0.
