This constitutes a meeting of the Common Council pursuant to State ex rel. Badke v. Greendale Village Board, 173Wis. 2d 553, 494 N.W. 2d 408 (1993) and must be noticed as such, although the Common Council will not take any formal action at this meeting. 1  MEMORANDUM CLERKS Date: February 24, 2022 To: Mayor Magnus Protection & Welfare Common Council From: Diane Coenen, City Clerk Re: Ginger Ovens LLC – New Class “B” and “Class C” Licenses RELATES TO THE STRATEGIC PLAN Strategic Goal - N/A BACKGROUND The City received an application for new Class “B” fermented malt beverage and “Class C” wine licenses from Ginger Ovens LLC, Jonathan Sandor, agent for the property located at 219 E. Pleasant Street. The applicant meets all State Statute and Chapter 12 requirements. I have included a copy of the Plan of Operation and Floor Plan for the business. ADDITIONAL ANALYSIS The City has no quota limitations on Class “B” beer or “Class C” wine licenses. FINANCIAL IMPACT The Class “B” and “C” licenses will expire June 30, 2022. The prorated fee, per State Statute is $67.00. Note: The annual fee for each license is $100.00. RECOMMENDATION Based on the applicant meeting all requirements, I suggest Protection and Welfare recommend granting the Class “B” and “Class C” licenses to Ginger Ovens, LLC to Council.
