PUBLIC LEGAL NOTICE FOR APRIL GENERAL ELECTION In compliance with RSMo Sec. 115.127 (5), notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of the City of Odessa, Lafayette County, Missouri, that the annual election of officers of the City of Odessa, Missouri, shall be held on the 8th day of April, 2025 in conformity with RSMo Sec. 79.030. At said election, there shall be elected: One – Alderman Ward 1 One – Alderman Ward 2 One – Alderman Ward 3 (All Terms are Two (2) Years) The opening date for candidate filing is Tuesday, December 10, 2024 and the closing filing date is Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Candidates may file for office in person with the City Clerk at Odessa City Hall located at 228 S. Second Street, Odesa, Missouri, commencing on December 10, 2024 at 8:00 am, and will continue during regular business hours, Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, and closing for filing on December 31, 2024 at 5:00 pm. City Hall will be closed Wednesday, December 25, 2024 and Thursday, December 26, 2024, in the observance of the Holidays, and may be closed should inclement weather occur. Candidates will be listed on the ballot in the order in which they file.
