GOV’T CODE ANN. § 551.043; and WHEREAS, there is an urgent public necessity that this amended and added agenda item be presented at the a special meeting, rather than a later public meeting, and it is imperative that the Odessa City Council vote on said item, as required by TEX. GOV’T CODE ANN. § 551.045. In accordance with TEX. GOV’T CODE ANN. Chapter 551, notice is hereby given to all interested persons the Odessa City Council will meet at City Hall, 5th Floor Council Chambers, 411 W. 8th Street, Odessa Texas 79761, on Monday, April 27, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. to discuss the following items: Invocation 1. Recess for Executive Session: Discuss and consider the applications for the vacancy of Councilmember District One. (Texas Government Code 551.074) Reconvene in open session for possible action. 2. Consider appointment to fill the vacancy of Council member District One This Notice is being posted on the bulletin board located outside the south entrance of the City Hall building and on the bulletin board of the first floor of City Hall, Odessa, Texas the _______ day of April, 2020 at ________, ___. m. It is also posted on the City of Odessa’s website www.odessa-tx.gov. The time is posted for at least two (2) hours before the meeting is convened. The special meeting is available to all persons regardless of disability.
