NOTICE OF OGDEN DUNES BZA PUBLIC HEARING TO RESIDENTS WITHIN 250’ OF SUBJECT PROPERTY To: Town of Ogden Dunes Residence From: Dovile Mockiene RE: Request for Variance for Property at 11 Ogden Road, Portage, IN 46368 Date: May 12, 2023 The Town of Ogden Dunes Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. at the Ogden Dunes Town Hall located at 115 Hillcrest Road, Ogden Dunes, Indiana on June 8, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. The hearing is for the application of D.M. for Developmental Standards Variance from the front, side, and rear setback lines for the Town of Ogden Dunes building code Section 152.032(I)(1)-(3), respective lots 3 and west ½ 4 of Blocks H3 and 4, in 4th subdivision, in the Town of Ogden Dunes, as per plat thereof, recorded in Miscellaneous Record, “X”, page 223, in the office of the Recorder of Porter County, Indiana. Currently, the front setback is 20’, the side yard setback is 15’ and the rear setback is 15’. This variance request is to extend the garage by 7' from the current home structure towards Ogden which would be located approx. 4'6" into the west side yard, extend 8" into the front setback on the west side of the structure and 4'6" into the front setback on the east side of the structure. This variance request also is to add a sunroom to the rear of the home on the west side which would be located approx. 3'6" into the west side yard, extend 6'6" into the rear setback on the west side of the structure and 1'2" into the rear setback on the east side of the structure.
