PAGE 1 OF 2 o~c(~ CHRISTMAS VILLAGE ~Christmas ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING Villag~ Mmutes of the regular meetmg of the Christmas VIllage Advisory Committee held Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 4 00 p m. at the Chnstmas VIllage Warehouse, 200 N 1000 W, Bldg 13A, Ogden, Weber County, Utah. Members Present: Keri Ritz Stephanie Grundie Craig Btelik Brenda Burrup Andrew Garcia Cindi Hellewell Sandra Tuck Mem hers Absent: Jo Packham Ashley Wilson ' Ntcole Lovell Judi Culley LouAnn Kamigaki Nikkt Lovell Diane Nelson Ex-Officio. Jacob Chadwick, Structural Maintenance Supervisor Ryan Parent, Area Mamtenance Supervisor Momca Lewis, Senior Office Assistant Stacey Olsen, ProJect Coordinator APPROVAL OF MINUTES Ms. Hellewell called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm and conducted roll call Ms. Hell ewell asked if everyone had a chance to review the mmutes and if someone would make a motion to approve the minutes Ms. Grundie motioned to approve the September 6, 2018 minutes. Seconded by Ms. Tuck. Committee approved HARVEST MOON Ms. Burrup reported that the craft was a success. The kids loved It and it was a great time. She recommends that If we do this again next year, we need three people to operate the booth each 2- hour shift Everyone needs to show up for the time they signed up for, or find a replacement. SWEATSIDRT Ms. Olsen asked if everyone saw the hoodie design and ifthere were any comments or suggestiOns. Mr. Bielik motioned to approve the 2018 Christmas Village Hoodie. Ms. Ritz, seconded. Committee approved. OPENING CEREMONY ENTERTAINMENT Mr. Biehk reached out to "Fat Old Guys" but they have another commitment. He said he can reach out to "Stampede". Ms. Burrup got some smg along DVD's we can use. She also volunteered to sit by the projector if we need some crowd control. They will walk the room going from table to table doing a show for the kids. Ms. Burrup reported that Ms Culley was able to get the man to come and make balloon ammals for the kids. Ms. Olsen said she spoke with the face painters and they are on willing to come back. Ms Kamigaki was able to get 300 small bears from Coke and 2 large bears from them. We need to come up With a way to give away the two large bears. We will meet on Fnday, November 30 at Sam in the Umon StatiOn Ballroom to decorate. STORE Ms. Olsen passed around the volunteer sheet to sign up for the store. Ms Tuck has some donated trays and candleholders that she would hke to donated to sell in the store each mght Ms. Olsen said to let her know when she would like to bring them up and she will get them m the store. COTTAGE DECORATORS The committee members that have contacted almost all the cottage sponsors. They will contmue to reach out to them all and make sure all the cottages will be decorated. OPEN DISCUSSION Mr. Bielik spoke with the Standard Examiner, they will donate ad space and are discussmg publishing a holiday brochure. Mr Biehk will also contact all the TV stations and let them know about the VIllage. NEXT MEETING The next meetmg for the Christmas VIllage Advisory Committee IS Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 4:00pm. The meeting location is at the Ogden Public Works Buildmg ADJOURNMENT With no further busin~ss to discuss, Ms. Grundie motioned to adjourn, motion seconded by Ms. Tuck.
