Ms Wilson asked tf everyone had a chance to review the minutes and tf someone would make a motion to approve the mmutes Mr. Bielik motioned to approve the October 25, 2018 minutes. Seconded by Ms. Ritz. Committee approved OPENING CEREMONY ENTERTAINMENT Ms Olsen reported that Mr W IIIIamson looked mto gettmg the nghts purchased for the smg along DVD's and the rental of a screen, It is not cost effective He smd he would play cheerful up beat Chnstmas music for the k1ds before the ceremony starts Mr Williamson reported that he IS 5 days that do not have any entertamment scheduled November 27 and 28, Dec 12, 18, 19, 20 He asked everyone to search for groups that would like to perform Ms Packham asked tfthe stage would be ht up Mr Williamson satd he IS workmg on that today and tomorrow BREAKFAST WITH SANTA UPDATES The Committee will meet on November 30 at 9am at the Umon Station to decorate for the breakfast Ms Lovell asked tf anyone had any decorations we could use to hght up the stage Ms Grundte has some deer that she will brmg Mr Chadwick satd he has plenty of ICicle lights we can use Ms Wilson satd the vtdeo of the book IS almost complete It will be ready for the breakfast MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF TilE CHRISTMAS VILLAGE ADVISORY COMMITTEE OF OGDEN, UT NOVEMBER 20,2018 PAGE 2 OF 3 Coke dehvered the bears and two large bears that we will give away in a raffle Ms. Grundie's daughter is prepanng 300 desserts for the breakfast Ms Grundie reported that her daughter VISited Sweet's Candy Store m SLC and they donated some taffy and other candy The committee said we should sell It m the store Ms Ritz sold a table for the breakfast Ms. Packham said she would purchase a table also Ms Olsen will contact the Lantern House and mvite some children to attend the breakfast Ms Ritz will see if she can get a bus to transport them to and from the Lantern House STORE Ms Olsen said we still have one day that needs a volunteer, December 20 All the Items m the store are labeled with a pnce The only Items that are not are some miscellaneous Christmas decorations Ms Tuck donated to the store Ms Olsen said 1f she does not find time to sort and pnce everythmg, she asked everyone to use their best judgement on selling those Items Procedures for the store Secunty will meet you at the store and unlock It for you. At the end of the mght, secunty will come back and lock It up Please turn everything off, take your moneybag over to Santa's Castle, and give It to the picture taker They will put It m a lock box at the end of the night FLOAT Mr Biehk said he could meet out at the warehouse at 8am on Saturday, November 24 to work on the float Ms Grund1e said she would be there to help also SIGNS Mr Packham said will look at the signs tomorrow She will see what she can do to get them completed COTTAGE DECORATORS The committee IS meetmg tomorrow, November 21, at 2pm m front of the store They will all go look at the cottages and make a note of which ones are not decorated. We will call the sponsors and confirm they are still plannmg to decorate On Friday, November 23 at 1Oam The committee will meet agam, look at the cottages and decorate any that are undone NEXT MEETING The next meeting for the Chnstmas VIllage Advisory Committee IS Tuesday, February 7, 2018 at 4:00pm The meetmg location IS to be determmed.
