which begins at 6:00 p.m., may be addressed immediately following that meeting.

4. Recognitions:
a. Captain Danielle Croyle. Recognizing Danielle Croyle for her retirement from the Ogden City Police Department
after 25 years of service. (No action required)
b. Community Planning Month. Proposed joint proclamation declaring October 2018 as “Community Planning Month”
in Ogden City. (Adopt joint proclamation – voice vote)
5. Approval of Minutes: (Voice vote)
a. Work session of March 27, 2018 – Council member Lopez
b. Regular meeting of April 3, 2018 and Work session of June 19, 2018 – Council member Choberka
c. Joint work session of June 12, 2018 – Council member White

6. Common Consent: (Voice vote)
a. Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Arts Grants. Proposed Resolution 2018-17 awarding arts grants for FY2018-2019 and
setting forth findings pursuant to Utah Code Annotated § 10-8-2 (2002). (Set public hearing for October 16, 2018)
b. Ogden City Arts Committee. Consideration of the reappointments of R. Brandon Long, Deja Mitchell, and Susan
Campbell and the appointments of Jess McCowin, Daniell Susi, Cameron McLeod, Todd Oberndorfer, and Nestor
Robles to the Ogden City Arts Committee. (Approve reappointments/appointments)
7. Public Hearings:
a. Martin Luther King Jr. Honorary Street Name. Proposed Resolution 2018-15 extending the honorary street name
designation for Martin Luther King Jr. on 24th Street from Jefferson Avenue to Harrison Boulevard. (Adopt/not adopt
resolution – roll call vote)
b. Cesar E. Chavez Honorary Street Name. Proposed Resolution 2018-16 extending the honorary street name
designation for Cesar E. Chavez on 30th Street from Monroe Boulevard to Harrison Boulevard. (Adopt/not adopt
resolution – roll call vote)
8. Public Comments. This is an opportunity to address the Council regarding concerns or ideas on any topic. To be
considerate of everyone at this meeting, public comment will be limited to three minutes per person. Participants are
to state their name for the record. Comments, which cannot be made within these limits, should be submitted in writing
to the City Council Office (citycouncil@ogdencity.com).
The Council encourages civil discourse for everyone who participates in our meetings. Comments pertaining to an
agenda item that includes a public hearing or public input should be given during the meeting as that item is discussed.
