Marshall N. White Center Advisory Committee Meeting Meeting Results September 8th, 2021 Electronic Via Zoom Meeting 4:00 PM 222 28th St, Ogden, Utah 84401 Call to Order  Chair Ron White called the meeting to order at 4:07 pm Attendees: Present Absent Ron White Clairesse Miljour Camille Cook Sean Bishop Tanner Koons Todd Skeen McKayla Thomas Priscilla Martinez Gerod Sawyer Edd Bridge Regina Esparza Tom Debole Sara Yearsley Whitney Ward – VCBO Nathan Leavitt - VCBO Approval of Minutes from 8-11-2021  Member Camille Cooke motioned to approve the 8-11-2021 minutes, Vice Chair Sean Bishop 2nd the motion, motion to approve passed with no opposition. New Business a. Diversity Commission Partnership for Outreach Communication – Sean Bishop  Vice Chair Sean Bishop proposed a partnership with the Diversity Commission to create some sort of communication line to the community that have questions and want updates on where we are at with the center redesign.  A meeting will be set up by Vice Chair Sean Bishop for Shardae Jones with the Diversity Commission and Member Priscilla Martinez chair of the Outreach Committee to discuss how to execute this. Priscilla Martinez will then report back to the committee. Committee Reports a. Community Outreach Committee – Priscilla Martinez  Chair Priscilla Martinez reported that the committee has not met, if the need is there, they will be happy to start meeting again. The committee will most likely begin to meet again once we are able to start getting feedback on the designs. b. Programming Committee – Tanner Koons  Chair Tanner Koons reported that the committee has not met as there has not been a need  Member Sara Yearsley asked if Todd Skeen needed this committees help for current programming at the center. Todd Skeen reported that due to COVID registrations are  down for some of the classes (music, arts and crafts). An open discussion on why registrations are lacking occurred among the committee members. c. Legacy Committee – Clairesse Miljour  Chair Clairesse Miljour was not present, so staff member Sabrina Lee reported that the committee is waiting for legal to begin interviews.  Edd Bridge reported that we should have the legal waivers from the City’s legal department by Friday.  Todd Skeen reported about the scrapbooks found while they were cleaning and re- organizing the center. Invited everyone to come down and look at them. 1. Public Comment – Limit to 3 minutes per person a. Participants are to state their name for the record. b.
