would be great We could add car themed art to the show c Ftlm Festival was good, about 300-350 m attendance All were local films except "Under the Arttc Sky" They wtll be domg another one next year but w1ll be changmg the date d NEXT's show at Alleged was smalll0-15 people came  , e Ogden's 52 exhibit opened, and OFOAM's Music Festival was also happenmg at the same tune f Platforms was slow, Panes on Washmgton and 25'11 St1eet opened up as well Not sure how viewer ship was on those, hard to gage with people walkmg by on the sidewalk 4 Marketmg Sub Committee Update- Brandon a Flyers and Poster will be prmted m July on a quarterly basis so we can plan for bigger openmgs and events b Alicia IS workmg on addmg two gallenes/events to each water bill drop Should start 111 August c Need to start pushmg for Mayor's Awards Nommatwns, the deadlme will be Aug 25 111 this year We will be usmg the Graphic that we used last year to be consistent m our marketmg efforts d We can push the Cahgraph1ty show at Platforms for the July FF AS e We need to reach out to local bloggers such as Ogden Rad Ladies, Salt ProJect, Mommy Bloggers, And She's Dope Too, etc for help pushmg our events f Committee Blog helps as well g Try to use hashtags #FF AS #ogdenarts or #firstfndayartstroll on your social media posts 5 Creative D1stnct- Jake a 10 Design Collaborative IS workmg on the Master Plan for the Creative D1stnct We held the Open House on May 17111 at the Weber Commons from 6-8pm and It was well attended 50-60 people showed up and voted with their money m support of artist busmess/marketmg supp01t, hghtmg, and pubhc art for the most part b We should have Shalae and her group update the Committee soon on the design progress c Be sure to be reachmg out to your Representatives and mv1tmg them to arts events and programmmg regulaiiy so we can get fundmg mto Ogden 6 Blog- Ten a Ten IS super happy with all of the articles she has read Very Impressive wntmg b ed1tmg and or changmg the articles d Should look mto offenng the arttcles to other blogs and papers e Will need to work on plans for thts m the future, literary subcommittee can meet about this and update Committee 7 Pubhc Art- a Fire Station #3 Public Art unvellmg was May 15'11 About 30 people showed up, everythmg went great cons1dermg the entire wad was closed m front of the statiOn b DirectiOnal sign ts not bemg mstalled at the JunctiOn by the River of Ltght New locatiOn wtll hopefully be across the street south east from Treehouse next to the parkmg area The piece will need to be mstalled honzontally on the ground, as It cannot be mstalled standmg up due to engmeermg and safety Issues c Scott has a great tdea for new pubhc art proJect Have a yearly contest to pamt panels or digital art for the back of the Public Works bulldmg facmg the freeway entrance Could change It out each year d Need to keep dtscussmg future tdeas for smaller public art proJects at each meetmg, or
