has for piOJects 111 local bwldmgs She e}l..plamed about the partial gtant she had for a shelte1 and
showed photos of sculptors she has done She would like to find a buildmg 111 Ogden that she can
start one 111 She mentioned the Mumcipal btuldmg, Webe1 County bwldmg and the new Weber
buildmg on 26 1h Stieet The committee IS on boatd for her to do It, but she needs to get approval
from a buildmg to get It started
• First Fnday Art Stroll- Update- All
• The art stroll had a lot foot t1affic at the Unton Statton because of the Ogden Food Tntck
Rally Throughout 25 1h Street there were people 111 the atea walkmg atound but not as
much as last month
• Ogden UnCon had a pop-up event and had a good turnout compated to theu headquartets
locatiOn
• Platforms had 50 votes f01 the mwals, Argo House, Gallery 25 and new location Skm by
Bliss all had a good turn out f10m what everyone noticed
• Waffle Love, Diamond 25 had little foot tiaffic Van Sessions was outside makmg It cold
and not as busy
• Arts on the Town - Lone Buckley
• The date 1s Apn125, 2019 at The Monarch
• Lone sa1d that she would hke the committee to email her on who they would hke to have
speak and present at the event
• Lone IS st1ll dec1dmg on a caterer, Zucca but a couple others were recommended to her
• Public Art/Creative D1stnct- Lone Buckley
• Everyone went upsta1rs to the nmth floor to vote for a poster/ut1hty box art for Sp1ke 150
event
• Arts Grants- Lone Buckley
• The arts grants are due March 15 The grant rev1ew comm1ttee will meet soon after to get
on the agenda w1th C1ty Council by August/September
• Arts Day on the H1ll- Lone Buckley
• The event was a success Taylor and Damelle d1d an excellent JOb w1th conductmg
everyone that went
• The C1ty of Ogden had about 15 representatives show the1r support, the largest showmg
from any c1ty
• The event was productive w1th support from everyone except one m the leg1slat1ve

• M1chael- He sa1d that the Chamber Orchestra Ogden has the1r Fa1ry Tales event on
March 23 He brought fl1ers for everyone to take There w1ll be an auct1on offa1rytale
msp1red art that starts at 6 30 p m It IS to help ra1se money to help ch1ldren who are not
able to attend art and mus1c camps through Weber State Umvers1ty and the Local Artisan
Collective due to finances
• DeJa- She mentwned that she attended the Art Integration Conference There are more
workshops ava1lable through the Umvers1ty of Utah w1th Beverly Sorenson There IS

• Russ- All hrs celebrrty guests are scheduled He rs workmg on havmg a table talk wrth
the wrrter and author of the Walkmg Dead They have hrred Cybertromc Spree to
perform at Peery"s Egyptran Theater The pop-up event had a good turnout On Saturday,
they have a chanty event to help support the Utah Coahtron of Domestrc Vrolence He
also mentroned to Todd and Brandon about bemg a sponsor for Nme Ralls Podcasts
• Jess- The regrstratron rs open for the summer market They have the Sprrng Beer
Festrval, Urban Festrval and the Herrtage Festrval commg up Regrstratron for the Car

• Todd- Shaw Gallery has therr Reverse of Volume exhrbrt open untrl Apnl 6 They are
workmg on the BFA Show, whrch may be therr brggest one yet He rs workmg on havmg
more field trrps to have hrgh school students see what rs happemng The last Snow Days

Monarch Hers part of the Urban Arts Gallery
• Shane- Restaurant week rs Aprrl 4-13 and comcrdes wrth the art stroll On Frrday, The
Proper Way wrll be performmg at Funk n Drve They wrll be domg a vrdeo documentary
featurrng new local artrsts, such as Mrchelle Moonshme
• Scott- Onhne votmg rs open through March and onsrte at the next art stroll The Argo
House has the Milky Silky Smooth & Pretty exhrbrt up by Mrchelle Larsen They will
