Work is in disrepair, over 10 years old, and competing with the Grant Avenue Don Rimx murals 2. Artist has been notified of the intent to decommission a. Discussed acquiring an artist release to decommission the work i. To be discussed with Ogden City’s Legal department 3. Discussed public notification of the decommission 4. Motion to decommission the 23rd Street Climbers mural – Cam McLeod a. Motion passes unanimously o Kiesel Avenue (tents) 1. Artist is not interested to repair the work 2. Discussed work’s existing cable structures remaining intact and functional a. Opportunity for future public art projects to use existing cabling 3.
