Minutes of the regular meeting of the Natural Resources and Sustainability Stewardship Advisory Committee held Thursday,
December 9th, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. at the Ogden City Municipal Building, 2549 Washington Blvd., 7 th floor conference room,
Ogden, Weber County, Utah and via electronic web conferencing in accordance with Utah Code 52-4-202.

CALL TO ORDER / WELCOME / ROLL CALL
Adam welcomed the committee members and called the meeting to order.
Meggin called the roll.
APPROVAL OF OCTOBER 22ND MEETING MINUTES
Joe made a motion to approve the minutes and Aimee seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
FLIP THE STRIP PRESENTATION- AMBER CORBRIDGE
Amber Corbridge with Ogden City
that Ogden City is looking to implement (see recording for full presentation). This is still in the planning phase
and any suggestions or comments regarding the program by Committee members are welcome. Please send
those questions or comments to Amber Corbridge at ambercorbridge@ogdencity.com.
EV CHARGING STATION STUDY PRESENTATION- JENN BODINE & WSU STUDENTS
Jenn Bodine and several students from Weber State University gave a presentation on their EV Charging
Station Study (see recording for full presentation). This was a well-received presentation and we thank all the
students for their hard work!
STRATEGIC PLAN UPDATE- BILL HACKETT
The strategic plan has been completed and approved by all committee members. Adam will put the strategic
plan into a document that can be reviewed by city staff. Once this document is approved by city staff, it will

SUBCOMMITTEE RESTRUCTURING DISCUSSION
The Committee decided to change the name of one of the sub-committees from the Climate sub-committee to
the Climate and Clean Air sub-committee. Adam will send out a spreadsheet asking everyone which sub-
committee they would like to be on and have that information for the next meeting. Please choose a specific
committee instead of doing a rank choice. You can be on multiple committees, but remember to make sure all
committees are represented fairly equal.
HB 411 UPDATES
Jay stated that the city is still in the rough draft stage of the survey and when they get something more
substantial, they will bring it to the committee for their input. He also wanted to remind everyone to send him
questions for the survey.
COMMITTEE OPEN DISCUSSION
Jonathan and Bill worked on a water conservation ordinance draft that they had intended to submit to the city
for review. Jonathan stated that the Ogden City Planning department is doing great work with their proposed
flip the strip program and would like the committee to look at his ordinance draft and the presentation that the
planning department gave to start a discussion with ideas or questions on this topic. This can be talked about
further in our next meeting. rdinance draft will be sent out to all committee members.
Bonnie stated that the January meeting will be the last meeting that she will be attending. She will be resigning
from the Committee in January because of work and personal conflicts. We thank her so much for her
participation on the Committee.
Ross
He stated that the City Council is very concerned about water conservation, and they decided they would be
putting a large portion of money into some sort of water conservation program necessarily put in
place for the , however since the planning department was working on
program before City Council talked about putting money into a program, they may put more money towards the
program and also may come up with other ideas as
welcome to give input.
Jay stated they are also looking at redoing the irrigation systems on three city facilities so the city can take the
lead on water conservation.
