HB 411 UPDATES
The survey is still open to the public, so the city has not received results yet. Once the results are back, the
Committee will be notified of the outcome. The city will need to make a decision by June if they want to
participate in HB411.
Aimee asked if Ogden City has thought about alternative options to save energy if the city decides to not go
forward with HB411 and if the climate & clean air subcommittee could make recommendations on some
options. Mara stated that the city is exploring all options and would love input from the subcommittee as to
other options if the city does not go forward with HB411.
COMMITTEE OPEN DISCUSSION
Meggin discussed upcoming chair and vice-
would then take over as chair and a new vice-chair would need to be chosen. The committee can give
nominations for vice-chair in our May meeting, so that a new vice-chair is in place starting in June.
A new member application has been sent to the Mayor and City Council for approval and assignment of a date
for an upcoming City Council meeting. Meggin will check and see if a date has been given yet.
Meggin discussed that according to the rules of the committee, an annual report is required to be sent to City
Council every year, due in August. This report would be fiscal year reporting, July 1 st to June 30th. Meggin
suggested using data from the sunset report and ad
Aimee will work on this report together, but Aimee will present to City Council since she will be the new chair at
ort that they just submitted

Aimee asked about the social media posting of the committee recruitment advertisement. She stated that it
t find it on Instagram. Meggin will check with Marketing to see if they
posted to Instagram and if not, this will be posted.
Jonathan will work with the connection sub-committee to possibly do some tabling events coming up. Jay
informed the committee that there is a table, signs, and other items available to use for these events. He gave
the contact information for the refuse department to Adam so he could reach out to them when they needed
