CALL TO ORDER Present: Mickelson, Bacon, Vogt, Gilmore, Felter, and Essex Absent: McCoy Others in attendance were City Manager, Michael Wilkes, Deputy City Manager, Susan Sherman, and City Attorney, Ron Shaver. 2. EXECUTIVE SESSION Consideration of motion to recess into an executive session to discuss the following items: A. To discuss personnel matters of non-elected personnel pursuant to the exception provided in K.S.A.75-4319(b)(1) regarding the Internal Auditor position. Motion by Gilmore, seconded by Vogt, to recess into executive session to discuss matters of non-elected personnel pursuant to the exception provided in K.S.A. 75-4319(b)(1) regarding the City Auditor position for 15 minutes. The open meeting will resume here at 8:15 PM. The motion carried with the following vote: Yes: Mickelson, Bacon, Vogt, Gilmore, Felter, and Essex Absent: McCoy 3. RECONVENE FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION Motion by Gilmore, seconded by Vogt, to authorize the City Auditor liaison committee and the City Attorney to negotiate and finalize the terms of, and the Mayor to execute, an employment agreement regarding the City Auditor position. The motion carried with the following vote: Yes: Mickelson, Bacon, Vogt, Gilmore, Felter, and Essex Absent: McCoy 4. ADJOURNMENT The meeting adjourned at 8:16 PM. Brenda D.
