PUBLIC COMMENT
Alderman Crawford explained we have again purchased a vehicle with money that was
found and it feels like we are going through the couch cushions to find money for these
purchases. He explained we are going to have a really big challenge ahead of us for putting
together equipment purchases and sustaining buildings and facilities, and this will be a
difficult budget. He explained he hopes we can plan better in the future so funding for these
types of things is easier.
Steve Rogers of 867 North 4th Street explained his neighboring property has environmental
issues and is part of a potential brownfield opportunity area. He explained safety took a
backseat and that property is being used without concern for citizens. He explained he feels
there is major recordkeeping lacking in Code Enforcement and he wants to bring this to
the attention of the Council, Mayor Aiello and future Mayor Sherburne.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion to adjourn was made by Alderman Robinson, seconded by Alderman
Anastasia. Voice vote, ayes all. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at approximately
