1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Burlingame called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m.

Commissioners shared information about past and upcoming art events. Commissioners
also welcomed new members.

As a means to providing context to new Commissioners, Ms. Johnson shared a high level
overview of ongoing City efforts in support of arts, cultures and heritage. That
presentation was followed by an in-depth look at the work of the Arts Commission as
described in their annual work plans.
The information was provided.
7. REPORTS
Ms. Johnson shared that the Giant and I by Nathan Robles, that has been in front of City
Hall for several years, will be moved to Harry Fain Park, in order to make room for one of
the 2022 Plinth Project Winners. She noted the Armory Art Interventions will take place in
July, with more information to come from Ms. Nava, and that the Arts Commission retreat
will take place in October.
