CALL TO ORDER and ROLL CALL (6:15 - 6:17) The meeting was called to order at 6:20 p.m. Present: 6 - Chair Clark Gilman, Committee member David Coppley, Committee member Kris Fransen, Committee member Christina Lock, Committee member Scott Morgan, and Committee member Brittany Yunker Excused: 2 - Committee member Joe Ford, and Committee member Greg Wahl Others Present Roger Horn, Olympia Planning Commission City Staff Councilmember Julie Hankins Sophie Stimson, Senior Planner, Public Works Transportation Michelle Swanson, Senior Program Specialist, Public Works Transportation Randy Wesselman, Engineering and Planning Manager, Public Works Transportation Heather Reed, Program Assistant, Public Works Transportation 2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA The agenda was unanimously approved. 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 3a. 15-0908 Approval of July 22, 2015 Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes The minutes were unanimously approved. 4. PUBLIC COMMENT Jeff Rudeen, Olympia resident, expressed thanks to the City for working to address slick pavement markings. 5. ANNOUNCEMENTS Committee members and staff made announcements. BUSINESS ITEMS 6a. 15-0907 City Email for Advisory Committees Ms. Swanson provided Committee members with their City email addresses and temporary passwords. The information was provided. 6b. 15-0909 Pavement Markings Update Mr. Wesselman reported on the City's pavement markings. The report was received. 6c. 15-0910 2016-2021 Preliminary Capital Facilities Plan Review Committee members made comments on the CFP. Chair Gilman will incorporate those comments into a letter to City Council and represent the BPAC at the October 13 CFP hearing. The report was received. 6d. 15-0911 Bicycle Corridor Pilot Project Update Ms. Stimson provided an update on the Bicycle Corridor Pilot Project. The report was received. 7. HOUSEKEEPING 7a. 15-0912 Housekeeping: Quick Reference Work Plan The information was provided. 8. ADJOURNMENT Chair Gilman adjourned the meeting at 8:20 p.m. City of Olympia Page 2
