6.A 17-1169 Briefing on City Efforts with Partners on Safe Walking and Biking Routes
to School
Mr. Wesselman provided a briefing on City efforts to work with neighborhoods and the
Olympia School District (OSD) on safe walking and biking routes to schools while
utilizing and adapting standards from the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices
(MUTCD).
The discussion was completed.
6.B 17-1170 Downtown Street Improvements Update
Ms. Stimson provided a briefing on upcoming downtown street improvement projects,
which are included in the Olympia Downtown Strategy.
The report was received.
6.C 17-1171 Officer Elections
Nominations and elections were held. Chair Coppley facilitated. Committee member
Morgan was elected as Chair and Committee member Yunker Carlson was elected as
Vice Chair for terms to run from January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018.
The decision was approved.
7. HOUSEKEEPING (8:05 - 8:15)
7.A 17-1133 Housekeeping: Quick Reference Work Plan
The report was received.
8. ADJOURNMENT (8:15)
