APPROVAL OF AGENDA (6:02-6:05) The agenda was approved. 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES (6:05-6:10) 22-0693 Approval of May 18, 2022 Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes The minutes were approved. 4. PUBLIC COMMENT - None 5. ANNOUNCEMENTS (6:20-6:30) Committee members and staff made announcements. 6. BUSINESS ITEMS 22-0694 Briefing on the Fones Road Improvements Project City of Olympia Page 1 Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Meeting Minutes July 20, 2022 Committee Jim Rioux and Michelle Swanson provided an update on the Fones Road Improvements project. The report was received. 22-0695 Briefing on Preliminary 2023 - 2028 Capital Facilities Plan (CFP) and approving a method to review it Committee member Tallman moved, seconded by Committee member Fitzgerald, to form a subcommittee with Committee member Tallman as Chair, and Committee members Bumann and Riedmayer to review the Preliminary 2023-2028 CFP and draft a letter for the full Committee to review at the September meeting. The motion passed unanimously. 22-0696 Neighborhood Centers Report Committee member Bumann provided an update on her participation on a work group for the Neighborhood Centers project. The report was received. 22-0697 Approval of a Representative to Serve on the Capital Mall Triangle Subarea Plan Work Group Chair Brown moved, seconded by Committee member Bumann, to nominate Chair Brown to be the representative and Vice Chair Fitzgerald to be the alternate on the Capital Mall Triangle Subarea Plan work group. PUBLIC COMMENT (6:10-6:20) During this portion of the meeting, community members may address the Advisory Committee or Commission regarding items related to City business, including items on the Agenda. In order for the Committee or Commission to maintain impartiality and the appearance of fairness in upcoming matters and to comply with Public Disclosure Law for political campaigns, speakers will not be permitted to make public comments before the Committee or Commission in these two areas: (1) on agenda items for which the Committee or Commission either held a Public Hearing in the last 45 days, or will hold a Public Hearing within 45 days, or (2) where the speaker promotes or opposes a candidate for public office or a ballot measure.
