APPROVAL OF MINUTES 2.A 13-0902 Approval of October 15, 2013 Civil Service Commission Meeting Minutes Commissioner Soule moved, seconded by Commissioner Callner, to approve the minutes. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 2 - Commissioner Callner and Commissioner Soule Excused: 1 - Chair Villegas Bremer 3. BUSINESS ITEMS 3.A 13-0903 Process for Candidate Appeals of Removal from Register This agenda item was postponed from the meeting of October 15, 2013. The Commissioners reviewed the appeal process for removing candidates from a register and agreed not to record during the closed session. Additionally, language was added to the protocol regarding informing the candidate within two weeks of their decision unless there are extenuating circumstances which may require further City of Olympia Page 1 Civil Service Commission Meeting Minutes October 29, 2013 investigation. The revised appeal process will be provided to the Commissioners before the hearing of the appeal. This item was informational and did not require action. The report was received. 4.
