Chair Villegas Bremer called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.

6.A 17-0438 Extend Promotional Fire Lieutenant Register
Commissioner Callner moved, seconded by Commissioner Soule, to extend
the duration of the Promotional Fire Lieutenant Register to April 19, 2018.
The motion carried by the following vote:

6.B 17-0437 Oral Report on Battalion Chief Promotional Process
Assistant Fire Chief Mike Buchanan gave a presentation about the recent battalion
chief promotional exam. Topics covered included the development of the test, the
written exam, candidate preparation, and exercises at the assessment center.
The information was received.
6.C 17-0439 Removal of Names from Entry Level Police Officer Register
One name was removed from the Entry Level Police Officer Register.
The information was provided.
6.D 17-0440 Removal of Names from Firefighter Register
Two names were removed from the Firefighter register.
The information was provided.
