The meeting was called to order at 8:30 a.m.

5.A 21-0736 Approval of Promotional Firefighter/Paramedic Register
Assistant Fire Chief Kevin Bossard explained that firefighter Alex Thompson qualifies for
the register based on his successful completion of an accredited paramedic training
program which has been approved by the Thurston County Medical Program Director
and approval by the Thurston County Medical Program Director to function as a
Firefighter/Paramedic in Thurston County. Firefighter Thompson holds the rank of
firefighter and has successfully completed the probationary period for firefighter.
Commissioner Callner moved, seconded by Commission Soule, to approve

the Promotional Firefighter / Paramedic Register. The motion carried as
follows:

Commission to maintain impartiality and the appearance of fairness in upcoming matters and to comply
with Public Disclosure Law for political campaigns, speakers will not be permitted to make public
