APPROVAL OF AGENDA The agenda was approved. 4. PUBLIC COMMENT - None 5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 5.A 19-0663 Approval of June 25, 2019 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes The minutes were approved. 6. COMMITTEE BUSINESS 6.A 19-0657 Briefing on the Hands on Children’s Museum Hands on Children's Museum Board ExecutiveTim Madeley gave a briefing on the Museum. The discussion was completed. 6.B 19-0655 Budget Snapshot - Internal Controls Fiscal Services Director Nanci Lien presented information on internal controls. The information was provided. 6.C 19-0637 Homeless Response Funding and Expenditure Update Programing and Planning Supervisor Amy Buckler and Home Fund Manager Cary Retlin City of Olympia Page 1 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes July 17, 2019 reported updated information on homelessness response funding and expenditures. It was suggested the presentation be summarized for the full City Council. The report was received. 6.D 19-0219 Building Condition Assessment Public Works General Services Director Meliss Maxfield shared a presentation on the Building Condition Assessment. It was suggested that the presentation be summarized for the full City Council. The information was provided. 7. REPORTS AND UPDATES Ms. Lien reported the City received a clean audit (called an "unqualified opinion") from the State Auditor’s Office. She also reported the City received an audit finding due to a journal entry error; however, the mistake was corrected which allowed the City to receive the clean audit. 8.
