Chair Parshley called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

Present: 3 - Chair Lisa Parshley, Committee member Jim Cooper and Committee
member Dani Madrone

The agenda was approved.

5.A 23-0459 Approval of April 19, 2023 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes
The minutes were approved.
6. COMMITTEE BUSINESS
6.A 23-0428 SE Urban Growth Area Annexation Recommendation
Community Planning and Development Deputy Director Tim Smith discussed results
of a feasibility analysis on annexation of the SE Urban Growth Area. The Committee
requested more data and asked staff to return to the Finance Committee at a later
date.
The recommendation was tabled.
6.B 23-0420 Olympia Strong Update
Economic Development Program and Planning Supervisor Amy Buckler discussed

draft initiatives for Olympia Strong and reported results of a recent public engagement
survey.
The report was received.
7. REPORTS AND UPDATES
The Committee decided to hold their June 21 meeting in person.
8. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 7:31 pm.
