1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Miller called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: 3 - Commissioner Garner Miller, Commissioner Rachel Newmann and
Commissioner Sheila Swalling

3. BUSINESS ITEMS
3.A 19-0590 Discussion of Rules and Regulations Relating to the Construction of
Accessory Dwelling Units in Historic Districts
Ms. Smith provided an overview of permitting requirements and design guidelines for
accessory dwelling units and setbacks, and reviewed the allowable exceptions for corner
lot properties and how they apply in this instance. The Committee discussed the historic
preservation standards and guidelines and their applicability, and previewed the site plan
and renderings in preparation for a future on-site meeting.
The discussion was continued to the July 1, 2019 Heritage Review Committee
meeting.
4. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 1:00 p.m.
