CALL TO ORDER Vice Chair Miller called the meeting to order at 12:02 p.m. 1.A ROLL CALL Present: 4 - Chair Holly Davies, Vice Chair Garner Miller, Commissioner Kenneth House and Commissioner Gary Stedman Excused: 5 - Commissioner Aicha El Beloui, Commissioner Shannon Glenn, Commissioner Audrey Henley, Commissioner Andrea Pareigis and Commissioner Sharon Lumbantobing Absent: 1 - Commissioner Jessica Hull 1.B OTHERS PRESENT Historic Preservation Officer Holly Borth Heritage Review Committee Alternate Gary Stedman 2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA An amendment was made to Business Items 6.A and 6.B to state "Approval to recommend..." The agenda was approved as amended. 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 23-0434 Approval of March 27, 2023 Heritage Review Committee Meeting Minutes The minutes were approved. 4. PUBLIC COMMENT - None 5. ANNOUNCEMENTS - None City of Olympia Page 1 Heritage Commission Meeting Minutes May 15, 2023 6. BUSINESS ITEMS 23-0435 Approval of James Martin Warehouse at 115 State Avenue NE to be listed in the Olympia Heritage Register. A motion to recommend to the Olympia Heritage Commission that the James Martin warehouse be listed in the Olympia Heritage Register under criteria A, C, and D. Upon review of business item 6.B, the motion was rescinded. The recommendation was tabled. 23-0436 Approval of James Martin Warehouse at 115 State Avenue NE for Special Property Tax Valuation. The Committee did not have sufficient information to make a motion. The recommendation was tabled. 7. REPORTS - None 8. OTHER TOPICS - None 9.
