1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Miller called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m.

Present: 7 - Chair Garner Miller, Vice Chair Stacy Hicks, Commissioner Stephen
Becker, Commissioner William Cotter, Commissioner Eleanor Knight,
Commissioner Melissa Patrick and Commissioner Gary Stedman
Absent: 1 - Commissioner Audrey Henley
2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
The agenda was approved.
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
25-0071 Approval of October 23, 2024 Heritage Commission Meeting Minutes
The minutes were approved.
4. PUBLIC COMMENT - None
5. ANNOUNCEMENTS
Announcements were made regarding Council stipends, Heritage Caucus and webpage
updates. Commissioner Cotter announced he is putting together a document to list
funding and grant opportunities for the group.
6. BUSINESS ITEMS
25-0072 Applications for Heritage Commission
Chair Miller and Vice Chair Hicks provided a presentation on applications for Heritage
Commission.
The discussion was completed.
25-0073 Update on Policy and Ordinance Work

Ms. Gillia provided an update on policy and ordinance work.
The information was provided.
25-0075 Discussion on 2025 Work Plan
Commissioners discussed the 2025 Work Plan.
Recommended updates were shared and Staff will revise the document for
final voting at the next meeting.
7. REPORTS
Marketing and Outreach committee reported progress on the 2025 plans. Several
Commissioners, including Commissioners Patrick, Miller, Knight and Hicks, committed
to attending a booth for the Spring Arts Walk. Staff will follow up with more information.
