Chair Gilman called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: 3 - Chair Clark Gilman, Committee member Nathaniel Jones and
Committee member Lisa Parshley
3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
The agenda was approved.

5.A 19-0182 Approval of January 24, 2019 Land Use & Environment Committee
Meeting Minutes
The minutes were approved.
6. COMMITTEE BUSINESS
6.A 19-0163 Report on EcoDistricts from The Evergreen State College
Ms. Gaul and students from Evergreen State College presented a PowerPoint on the
Olympia Commons EcoDistrict Proposal.
The information was received.
6.B 19-0140 Parking Strategy Status Report
Mr. DeJarnatt presented a PowerPoint on the current Parking Strategy status.
Committee member Parshley moved, seconded by Chair Gilman, to reaffirm
the recommendation to forward the draft Parking Policy, from July 26, 2018,
with neighborhood zones 1, 2 and 3 deleted from the residential parking
provision to the City Council. The motion passed unanimously.

7. REPORTS AND UPDATES
Mr. Bauer noted agenda items for the next meeting:
1. Multi-family Tax Exemption program
2. Downtown Design guidelines
