Chair Gilman called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

The minutes were approved.

6.A 19-0647 Short-term Rental Scope of Work
Mr. Bauer and Mrs. McCoy reviewed a PowerPoint presentation on short-term rentals.
Staff will return to the Committee for further direction.

6.B 19-0643 Vulnerable Renter Protection Next Steps
Mr. Retlin reviewed a PowerPoint presentation titled” Recent Changes to Landlord
Tenant Act and other Renter Protections”. He discussed changes to the state “Landlord
Tenant Act” and potential next steps regarding outreach on the changes to state law that
go into effect on July 28, 2019.
The report was received.
6.C 19-0665 Plan for August 12, 2019 Housing Roundtable Discussion
The discussion was postponed.
7. REPORTS AND UPDATES
The Committee briefly discussed the August 12, 2019 special meeting.
8. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
