Chair Madrone called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

Mr. Sperr presented an overview of proposed substantive changes to the City's
Engineering Design and Development Standards (EDDS), and the role they play in
guiding new construction in the City.
Committee member Gilman moved, seconded by Chair Madrone, to forward
the proposed 2023 EDDS update to the City Council for a public hearing. The
motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 2 - Chair Madrone and Committee member Gilman
Excused: 1 - Committee member Cooper
6.B 23-0715 Building Decarbonization Retrofit Strategies Discussion
Ms. Bailey presented her research on potential strategies for building decarbonization
retrofits. She summarized programs in other communities throughout the nation.
The information was received.
7. REPORTS AND UPDATES
Mr. Bauer provided updates.
8. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 6:45 p.m.
