APPROVAL OF AGENDA The agenda was approved. 3. PUBLIC COMMENT - None 4. BOARD BUSINESS 4.A 19-0801 Approval of April 23, 2019 Metropolitan Park District Board Meeting Minutes The minutes were approved. 4.B 19-0777 Presentation of the Annual Report by the Olympia Metropolitan Park District (OMPD) Advisory Committee Regarding Compliance of 2018 Funding Levels Park Planning and Maintenance Director Jonathon Turlove introduced Olympia Metropolitan Park District Advisory Committee Chair Roger Horn to present the annual report regarding compliance of 2018 funding levels. Mr. Horn reviewed the Committee's July 10 letter to the Board indicating the City of Olympia was found to be in compliance with the required 2018 funding levels. He noted the YES Olympia Parks Coalition expressed interest to the Committee in seeing actual revenues and expenses and supported putting funds into a dedicated account that would remain rather than going back to the General Fund. The report was received. 4.C 19-0776 Review of the 2020 Preliminary Olympia Metropolitan Park District (OMPD) Budget Mr. Turlove gave a presentation of the proposed 2020 budget. He highlighted staff meetings with the City's Finance Committee and Parks and Recreation Advisory City of Olympia Page 1 Metropolitan Park District Board Meeting Minutes September 10, 2019 Committee to discuss maintenance challenges and options for potential addtional funding in the future.
