1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 9:45 a.m.

The minutes were approved.

6.A 17-0739 Twinklefest 2017 Discussion
- Subject to final confirmation, the proposed event start date is November 22, 2017.
- Photo deadline is December 4, 2017 - Ambassadors will take photographs.
- Photo Gallery Hosting: Potentially engage Thurston Talk or MIXX 96.
- Make advertising slideshow publicly available.
- Downtown Liaison Mark Rentfrow will manage online voting utilizing Survey Monkey.
- Use voting survey to populate a database for future mailings - participation optional.

- Provide accolades and certificates to participating businesses.
- PBIA/ODA could coordinate with Ratepayers for "holiday swags" on Downtown
buildings.
- Mr. Rentfrow and DTA will ensure "starter packs" are available for businesses
interested in participating.
- Discussion of graphics administration, formerly the responsibility of the ODA.
- Discussion of advertising outlets such as Thurston Talk, Ranger, OP&L, Mason
County Journal, NVN.
- Funding discussions include allocating additional money to Twinklefest budget and
distribution of promotional responsibilities (ODA, PBIA, etc.).
- Staff Liaison Amy Buckler will continue to research contractual/RFP standards for
items exceeding $2,500.
- Ms. Buckler will verify answers to legal questions.
The discussion was completed.
