Staff Liaison Tobi Hill-Meyer called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m.

1.B LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Staff Liaison Hill-Meyer read a land acknowledgement for the Squaxin Tribe.
1.C WELCOME BY COUNCIL MEMBER DONTAE PAYNE
Councilmember Payne introduced himself and gave opening remarks.
2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
The agenda was approved.

6.A 22-0538 Presentation on City’s Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI) History
Staff Liaison Hill-Meyer gave a brief presentation on the City's diversity, equity and
inclusion history.
The discussion was completed.
6.B 22-0537 Discussion of Draft 2022 Commission Workplan Items
Commissioners discussed work plan items and will look at other models of facilitation.
They will create a process for feedback .
The discussion was continued to the 06/27/22 meeting.
6.C 22-0539 Approval of 2022 Meeting Dates
Commissioners discussed meeting dates and agreed to meet next on June 27.
The Commission made a decision to meet the fourth Monday of every month.
