Oroville Civil Service Monday, September 23, 2024 Meeting called to order at 4:30 pm by Chairman Joe King. Present: Commissioners Joe King, Mike Sibley, and Dusti Giroux Secretary, Chief-Examiner: Emily Finsen Others present: N/A Absent: N/A Approval of the August 26, 2024, regular meeting minutes and September 6, 2024 special meeting minutes. Motion by Mike to approve the minutes, second by Dusti, motion passed. Secretary Finsen stated that no one from the September 6th Oral Board passed; there currently is no eligibility list. Finsen shared with the Commission a letter from Chief Langford stating that he is retiring November 15th, 2024. A Chief Oral Board was then set for Friday, November 8th. A special meeting was scheduled for Monday, November 4th to review applications. Next Regular Civil Service meeting to be held Monday, October 28th, 2024. As there being no further business, motion by Mike to adjourn the meeting at 5:05 pm, second by Dusti; motion carried.
