BOARD OF REVIEW
May 1, 2024
The Board of Review of the Village of Oxford, Marquette County, Wisconsin met on Wednesday, May 1, 2024
in the Council Room of the Oxford Village Hall, 129 S. Franklin Avenue.
The Deputy Clerk called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM with Board of Review Members Loretta Drinkwater,
Barb Holtz, Gary Sorensen, Dennis Zacharias, and Jim Drinkwater present. Also in attendance were Deputy
Clerks Maier and Kongslie. Not in attendance were Board of Review member and President Erwin “Butch”
Meyer and Tom Wastart. Deputy Clerk Maier asked for a motion to appoint a Chairman in President Meyer’s
absence. Motion made by L. Drinkwater/J. Drinkwater to appoint Gary Sorensen as Chairman of this Board
of Review meeting. Motion carried.
The Deputy Clerk stated the purpose of the meeting was to meet the Wisconsin Statute 70.47(1) requirement
that states the first meeting of the Board of Review must occur within a 45-day window beginning the last
Monday in April. Due to the fact that the assessment roll is not completed at this time, the Clerk entertained a
motion to adjourn the meeting until July 18, 2024 at 6:00 PM.
Motion made by Holtz/L. Drinkwater to adjourn the Village of Oxford Board of Review until July 18, 2024
at 6:00 PM. Motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:04 P.M.

Notice of Meeting to Adjourn to a Later Date
Village of Oxford, Marquette County, Wisconsin
The Board of Review will meet on the 1st day of May, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Room
of the Oxford Village Hall, 129 S. Franklin Avenue for the purpose of calling the Board of
Review into session during the 45-day period beginning on the 4th Monday of April,
pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 70.47(1). A quorum of the Village of Oxford Board of Trustees may
be present.
Due to the re-evaluation of all classes of property within the Village of Oxford and to reflect
market values for 2024, it is anticipated that the Board of Review will be adjourned until the
18th day of July, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.
