Council Meeting & Public Hearing on Annexation of Vernor Property

CITY OF OYSTER CREEK NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ANNEXATION The Oyster Creek City Council will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on June 15, 2023, in the City Council Chamber at the Oyster Creek City Hall, 3210 FM 523, Oyster Creek, Texas, to consider annexing the following property (“the Annexation Area”): A 40.16 Acre Tract, more or less (called 39.50 Acres), out of the J.W. Morris Tract in the Robert M. Aycock Survey, Tracts 3-3A, Abstract 146, Brazoria County, Texas, which is Property ID No. 162815 in the records of the Brazoria County Appraisal District, generally located at the northeast corner of the Oyster Creek waterway and FM 523, commonly known as the Vernor Materials sandpit and surrounding land.
