The Village Board would like to rescind the “Resolution” to put into effect Local Law #1 with regards to the Tax Cap Override. A public hearing will be held by Empire State Development here at the village hall on Friday, May 13 at 10am on the funding of the grant for the “walking trail project” that was completed in October of 2015. 7. The mayor needs board approval to sign the “Proposal to Provide Bond Counsel Services” that Harris Beach has submitted. Village Board to authorize Resolution to Purchase Street Maintenance Equipment. WHEREAS, The Village of Painted Post intends to apply to USDA Rural Development for Financial assistance to purchase street maintenance equipment (Backhoe and Utility Tractor with attachments). The Village intends to use New York State bids for these purchases provided a favorable funding package is provided by USDA. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT: RESOLVED, the Mayor and Deputy Mayor shall have signature authority for all forms relating to the USDA loan and grant.
