City of Panama City's 113th Birthday Recognition. Mayor Greg Brudnicki announced the 113th Birthday of the City of Panama City and City Attorney Nevin Zimmerman led the Commission and audience in singing Happy Birthday. 5.b. Panama City Housing Authority Presentation Teri Henry Executive Director of Panama City Housing Authority gave a slide presentation on Public Housing Authority programs and the new construction of the The Park at Massalina and Fletcher Black apartments. 5.c. The next lunchtime concert at City Hall will be on Wednesday March 2nd at noon. Panama City Quality of Life park maintenance crews spent the last few weeks prepping the City’s athletic properties for the upcoming spring sports season installing new irrigation systems, and improving the overall aesthetics of city parks. Re-tree PC handed out 650 Southern Magnolias and Live Oaks to Panama City residents during our Valentine’s Day Tree Giveaway. This tree giveaway was held February 12th at both the St. Andrews and Historic Downtown farmer’s markets. The ladies of DADSRA’s Senior Living Program spent Monday, February 14th dancing the day away at the inaugural Valentine’s Day Dance and Dinner. The Senior Living Program meets every Thursday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Oakland Terrace Park clubhouse. The City of Panama City is partnering with the non-profit Palmetto Paint PC to host Teen Tuesday Paint Night February 22nd, from 6-7 p.m. at the Center for the Arts. February 26th, celebrate Black History Month at McKenzie Park downtown, from 12 - 5 p.m. at the City of Panama City Family Heritage Reunion with food, music and local artists, including “Spoken Word”, a High School Rap Battle competition, Praise Teams, and the Michael Grady Choir. The grand re-opening of Oak Grove Field will be on March 4th from 6 - 9 p.m., at 17th and Lincoln Avenue with the Jackson E.
