REQUEST FOR SPECIAL MEETING OF THE GOVERNING BODY TO THE HONORABLE MAYOR, ARTIE STUTEVILLE, OF THE CITY OF PAOLA, KANSAS: We, the undersigned being duly elected, qualified, and acting Councilmembers of the City of Paola, Kansas, hereby respectfully request you to call a special work study meeting of the Governing Body of the City of Paola, Kansas to be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 as follows: 1) At 5:30 pm at the new Paola Fire Station located at 202 E Wea for the purpose of touring the facility. 2) At 6:30 pm at the Municipal Court Room at the Paola Justice Center at 805 N Pearl Street in Paola for the following purpose: • Discussion regarding the video taping of Council meetings. • Discussion regarding a golf cart ordinance. • Discussion regarding the City Hall renovation schedule. • Project updates: o Skate Park funding o K-68 Highway Study schedule o Comprehensive Plan update review schedule • Other.
